At Leelanau Industries we pride ourselves on our high automation, low labor business model. This business model centers around the capabilities of the machine tools deployed on our shop floor. We have invested heavily in Mazak Multi-tasking CNC lathes. These machines have some of the most advanced technology in the market today and their capabilities are enhanced with the integration of robotic load/unload solutions on all of our machines. To compliment our machines, we have also placed
two shop floor CMM's to gather dimensional data from our machining operations and provide for immediate feedback to our operators.
